After we have set up your account and provided your login information, you can access your portal and complete your profile.
Step 1: Log into Your Account #
Head to admin.aduaccelerator.org and log into your account. Enter the email address used to create your user account – you must have access to this email account to log in.
Next, check your email for a message from ADU Accelerator Support that includes your verification code. Enter that into the popup.
If you need further support, request help by contacting us at support@aduaccelerator.org.
Step 2: Navigate to Your Profile #
The screen you land on might look slightly different different depending on which tools you have. Either way, navigate to the last item on your navigation bar, which should be your jurisdiction name, and click on Profile. See example below for Anytown.
Step 3: Complete and/or Edit Profile Fields #
Your Mailing Address will not be publicly visible and will not show on your gallery, but may be used by the ADU Accelerator team to contact you about your account and gallery. These fields will be pre-populated from when the ADU Accelerator team set up your account, but you can edit as needed at any time.
Your Jurisdiction Logo or Seal will show in the header of your Plans Gallery and/or ADU Calculator. This image file must be at least 250px wide by 150px tall, and in a .JPG, .PNG, or .GIF file format.
Contact instructions for homeowners will appear on your Gallery and/or Calculator, including in the footer on every page. This text will appear with the heading “Questions about building an ADU?” and should briefly describe where homeowners should go for more information. This field is limited to 150 characters.
Include some or all of the following:
- The phone number to call with questions
- The email to send questions/messages to
- The website to visit for more information
- The location, hours, and instructions for visiting the Permit Center or speaking to local staff about an ADU project
Example:
Note that if you copy and paste into this field, it may bring along formatting and extra characters. To maintain consistent styling, we recommend either:
- Ctrl+Shift+V (PC) or Cmd+Shift+V (Mac) to paste without formatting
- Copy and paste into a plain text editor like Notepad or TextEdit (included in Windows and MacOS, respectively)
- Use an HTML cleaner first or try to strip formatting within the text editor.
