First: Make sure you’ve read Building your ADU Plans Gallery for best practices, definitions, and an overview of your options.
Step 1: Log into Your Account #
Head to admin.aduaccelerator.org and log into your account. Enter the email address used to create your user account – you must have access to this email account to log in.
Next, check your email for a message from ADU Accelerator Support that includes your verification code. Enter that into the popup.

Step 2: Navigate to the Select Plans page #
The screen you land on might look slightly different different depending on which tools you have. Either way, navigate to the Plans Gallery item in the main navigation, then the Select Plans item. See example below for Anytown.
The Select Plans page shows you all eligible plans in a grid similar to live plans galleries, including filters on the lefthand side. This view includes:
- Pre-designed plans available for purchase/use across the state
- Prefabricated plans available for purchase – note that all of these plans are marked as pre-approved because of their state or federal approval.
- Note: If you’ve added pre-approved plans to your gallery, you may see some plans that say “Pre-approved” at the bottom instead of “Select for gallery.”
Step 3: Browse, filter, and select prefab plans #
Adding plans to your gallery #
To add a plan to your gallery, all you have to do is click the “Select for gallery” switch at the bottom of the listing card. If you want to see more information about a listing before adding it, you can click on the image or name of the plan to open the listing details. You can also use the “Select for gallery” switch on the top right of the detailed listing to add it to your gallery. (Note: You can also use these switches to deselect pre-designed and prefab plans from your gallery.)
Note: If your gallery is live, this change will be reflected immediately.
Filtering the select plans grid #
Within the Select Plans page, you can use the filters on the lefthand side to look for plans that are a good fit. This can be a good way to ensure you have a variety of sizes, formats, and construction types (See Building your ADU Plans Gallery for more best practices).
A few examples for ways to use filters:
- See all plans under 1,000 square feet with 2 bedrooms
- See all solar-ready prefabricated plans
Our database of plans is growing all the time, so if your filter combination results in no plans at the moment, that could change – check back again later!
Step 4: Preview your gallery #
If your gallery is live/launched, you can view your plan selections immediately on your gallery.
If your gallery is not yet launched, you can view and filter your gallery selections on the first Tab of the Plans Gallery menu: [Your JX Name] Gallery.
